Scopes

 

  • A Civil Engineer is in charge of solving infrastructure problems for the production of goods or services of all the country in general


  • This infrastructure includes: buildings, factories, houses, bridges, expressways and urban roads, railway lines, inland waterways, ports and airports, hydroelectric use, irrigation systems, aluvional defenses, urban and rural sanitation works, planning of transportation systems and urban and rural traffic studies


  • A civil engineer is qualified to develop engineering systems and at the same time make use of his creativity in new technology uses. In this way, the graduated student is engaged with the environment, is a changes promoter and has innovation capacity to collaborate with productive growth, which allows to create new jobs and makes possible the social development as part of the environmental sustainability


  • A Civil Engineer is qualified to make arbitrations, expertises and valuations related to the works mentioned and to deal with Health, Safety Environmental Contamination in relation with such works
